I agree about these specific lens suggestions here. I think you should go and get MD Rokkor-X 50 F1.4, now if you want something special you should look for the Rokkor 50 F1.2 or the even better the 58 1.8 There is likely more to it if it matters. 1.4 vs 1.7 is aperture with the 1.4 seemingly more highly regarded. Maxxum is the AF version while the others you list are manual focus. MD with no Rokkor label is the last change prior to discontinuing the line. Rokkor-X is just usually regional naming differences. MD is newer with updated lenses coatings for the era. There are so many 😅 I've seen some videos and samples of each of them but I'm still very confused on which lens would be the best option for me, or just which lens gives a better image.
It seems like this is the Minolta part of town so, the big question.Which lens should I get? The options are: I already have a panasonic 25mm and a 20mm so I wanted to try something more portrait like and for cheap. I have a Lumix GX-85 and I wanted to give these 50mm vintage lenses a try. So, I'm very confused about the many 50mm Minolta Lenses out there.
